fever ray uses costumes within her videos and live shows to mask her identity and to create a dark, magical sometimes creepy atmosphere. my idea for the 'wrap it up' brief is to create packaging using the images of the masks and costumes to reveal something, an identity, when the package is opened. for this i have looked at the packages and worked out what is hidden and revealed within the nets. i thought about using acetate so that the outer design would cover the product inside but my ideas for this would prove too difficult for a one week brief.
i would like to use die cutting to reveal the inside of the packaging as i think this would work well with my idea!
