Re- Illustrated

I decided that the simple imagery used on the last design was too plain, by sketching the objects using crosshatch shading techniques it would add an element of eeriness to the work, a darker tone to the books.

I need to limit the colour palette aswell... possible representing the dark/light nature of the story.

Each book would use one additional colour.... look at where this would be.

The idea for Red Riding Hood was to concentrate on the eyes and mouth of Red Riding and the Wolf, these will be the elements that are hidden and revealed.
